Stylish and versatile, the Loake Aquarius is a premium Derby boot crafted for modern sophistication. Made with genuine hand-painted, leather uppers and featuring a sleek Oxford toe cap, this lace-up boot offers a polished look for any occasion. 

Aquarius ensures a comfortable fit, while the Goodyear welted lightweight rubber soles provide durability and all-day wearability. Designed in Northamptonshire and expertly handmade, the Aquarius combines classic charm with contemporary practicality.

Caring for hand-painted leathers

These boots are unique in the way they are finished, with colour added in layers over a natural base to create a deep rich and truly individual patina.

Only water-based creams should be used to moisturise the leather and retain depth of colour. Any solvent-based wax or cream could strip painted leather finishes and should be avoided.

We recommend using neutral cream to keep the original colour, and occasional treatment with the appropriate colour if they are fading or need a scuff treating.
